Yall I am terrible...its been and is so busy around here, I forget to update the kids' site, especially with Facebook now!!  Okay short story....Taylor, Cohen,, Jenna and I have had a good summer...Cohen has been in Mother's morning out and LOVING it!!!  We have taking Tay to Vital Stim Therapy all summer, three times a week, hoping to help her swallow.  We did a swallow study last week that showed some improvement in the oral part of her using her tongue to push the "food" to the back of her mouth to her throat.  Unfortunately she is still aspirating...after the swallow study she spiked a temp,  We were in the ped's office the next morning and Phoebe for a chest xray.  She got aspiration pneumonia from the swallow study....it was short lived since I caught it so soon!   Taylor has started Kindergarden!!!  Oh my gosh...SO HARD to believe my baby is now in kindergarden!!!  She has a new teacher and is at a new school this year.  This week she is doing great!!!  3 days in a row she has been and loved it!!!!  Taylor will be 6 in Oct., Cohen will be 3 in Oct. and little Jenna will be 2 in Nov.....so crazy how time flies so fast....my babies are growing up!!!!

Long time no write....sorry!  I don't have time to completely fill yall in right now, but gonna give you the latest as of today.  I will TRY to do better!!!

Just wanted to let yall know that the endoscopy went great today.  Taylor did soooo well, and even tolerated the sedation well.  She didn't have any bacteria or ulcers in her stomach; however, she did have some inflamation in her esophagus.  Which tells usshe is refluxing past her fundoplication.  He said the hernia is large and explained that while she does had the fundo the hernia is pushing it aside causing the reflux to go up.  He felt the only way to "fix" the problem was to do the surgery and highly reccomended it.  So...she will be having the surgery next Monday the 15th.  I don't know the details yet, waiting for the surgeon's office to call me.  I feel she will probably be admitted Sun., if not, we will go up on Sun anyway.  I'm praying that since she did well today with sedation that she will do well with the next one.  The GI doctor also said it is likely after we do this she won't even needs meds!!  I will keep you updated.  I still plan to keep her home this week.  I need to keep her well!!!!  If I need to do anything or talk to Kathy just let me know.  Thank you all so much!

Taylor's Boo in the Woods Fundraiser is this Saturday.  Boy did it sneak up on us!!!  We have lots planned and are getting very excited!!! 

If you planned to make a cake, please remind me that you are.  Its been a bit crazy around here lately as you all know.  I have misplaced my list of those making baked goods for the cake walk.  If you plan to go to Boo, I will replace your cake container with one of ours.  If I can get it to you early I will.  If you are not going to make it to Boo and want to donate a cake, let me know and I will make sure to pick it up.

Also, if you have raffle tickets, I need to start collecting your sold ones this week.  If you are going to Boo, and I can't get up with you this week just bring them with you.  Just let me know you will be there.  I don't want anyone who bought a ticket to be left out of the drawing.  It gets a bit crazy busy the day of.  LOL

For those who ordered t-shirts, they are in.  If I don't see you before Boo, I will have them there.

Taylor has had a great day.  She is feeling alot better and beginning to act like her old self.  An EEG was done today.  Should have the results tomorrow.  She is having an MRI done in the morning (Thurs).  She will have to be sedated for this, so please say an extra prayer about that.  Always makes me nervous when she is sedated, but I know she will be fine.  She is recovering very quickly, much faster than the doctors thought she would.  She is such a strong little girl.  She keeps this up, we will be home sooner than we thought.  Thank you for your prayers and thoughts, keep em coming.
